"May proved to be an exciting month for the electricity markets. As we anticipated in our April market update, May saw an incredible number of negative prices. Germany even reached 10 consecutive days with negative prices, which means that even on normal working days in Germany, solar-related negative prices were recorded. The last day of May showed just how crazy the markets can get. Extreme prices at both ends of what is actually possible - €9,999/MWh (16:00-16:15hrs) and €9,999/MWh (15:30-15:45hrs). "
